Spent a long wkend at Forest (Coast) on the beautiful Welsh Coast over Halloween. Highly recommend - well worth the drive drive & money spent

Lovely local beaches for spotting seals & dolphins:
Penbryn, Tresaith & Traeth.

You can walk (or get a bit lost in) the wooded coastline to all 3.
The venue itself is gorgeous. We stayed in a ‘Dome’ which was a cosy white padded womb with a log burner and a little outhouse for cooking and brewing coffee.

No internet, so u feel really smug until the existential angst kicks in. To counteract, we leafed through the newspapers & attempted conversation which went really well I think. Quite like that Leon fellow.

We watched terrible horror films which made the toilet trips in the pitch black night EXTRA thrilling, and 2 owls hooted their guts out right next to our dome until morning. Very atmospheric. Very wild. Can’t wait to return.
